First Announcement Second Announcement
First Announcement of SRF2007 October 26, 2006 Dear Colleagues, I am pleased to announce: the 13th International Workshop on RF Superconductivity (SRF2007) will be held from Oct. 14 to 19, 2007 at Peking University, Beijing, China. Twelve workshops have been successfully held around the world since 1980, and the Institute of Heavy Ion Physics (IHIP), Peking University, will host SRF2007. In the past 26 years, great achievements and progresses have been made in the science and technology of RF superconductivity and their applications to particle accelerators as reported at the workshops by participants. Nowadays, RF superconductivity technology has become very important for particle accelerators in many large scientific projects, such as ILC, Euro-FEL, SNS, and etc. SRF2007 will continue the tradition of the previous twelve successful workshops and will cover the following main topics: Advance of new technology of SRF, Fundamental topics for RF superconductivity, New and important projects, Industrialization of SRF technology and other topics. Before the workshop, there will be tutorial sessions for graduate students and new colleagues on various aspects of the RF superconductivity from Oct. 11 to 13, 2007. More details and updates will be in the SRF2007 website: Suggestions and comments are welcome to the international program committee and the local organization committee. We are looking forward to seeing you in Beijing and hearing your new progress and exciting achievements on RF superconductivity.
Sincerely yours
