APPENDIX: CONTRIBUTIONS IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
I. From 1996 to present, Presidents and some other
government leaders from more than 20 countries have visited Peking
University and delivered speeches. As Director of Office of International
Relations and Vice-President for International Relations, I have
planned, coordinated and hosted almost all the receptions. The
Presidents and government leaders I have received are as follows:
II. From 1998 to present, dozens of Presidents of
world famous universities have visited Peking University. I have
successfully planned the "University Days" at Peking
University, such as "Cambridge Day", "Oxford Day",
"Moscow University Day", "Yale University Day"
and "Leiden University Day". These activities have played
an important role in the internationalization and building the
world-class university of Peking University. The Presidents of
