There are 976 members of CCLA, 12 active local comparative literature associations on provincical and municipal levels in China.There are also 8 research institutions or societies affiliated with CCLA. They are: The Society of Translation Studies, Sino-French Cultural Relation Association, Chinese-Foreign Biography Society, The Research Institute for Postmodern Studies, The Association for Sino-American Comparative Culture, The Society for Semiotic Studies and The Research Group for Comparative Poetics.
